Just a quick post to say that I'll be gone for a while, as Ken is in the hospital again. I never knew how serious something like a UTI could be to someone with Ken's medical situations.
I just e-mailed you this, but I'll say it here too: yeah, UTIs can really eff with your mind, especially if you're already under recovery for something. My grandmother had one after another when she was in the nursing home, and when she had one...oh, she didn't recognize her kids or her grandkids, and she thought all the male orderlies were going to r*pe her. It was BAD!!! Mama also had a UTI when she was recovering from her gallbladder surgery, and she hallucinated that she was at a bus stop (she was in her hospital room). So yeah, they can make you sick, and they're scary! Thank God, they can be treated. I'll keep y'all in my prayers. I love y'all.
Sending positive, healing vibes Ken's way, Tam.
ReplyDeleteThanks Beth.

ReplyDeleteIt's extra dangerous for Ken, having had a stroke, and having all his issues. It was quite scary.
DeleteI am so sorry your Ken is sick again! I lost my Ken on Saturday. Praying yours heals soon.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry Michelle. I have forgotten who your Ken is to you. You have our sympathies.
