Doll-A-Day 2017 #206: Ivy's Collection:Fishing Net Dolls

  Today's dolls are a bit unusual. They're more dolls from Ivy's Collection.

I would guess they are souvenir dolls.

Whether the tag pinned to them is original to them,or a reminder the owner left for themselves, is hard to say.

They are made from fishing net, (for the bodies),and cork fishing net floaters,(for the heads),or whatever they're called.

The mom is about 6" tall.

The mom has fishing net legs.

She has fishing net arms.

The baby has a fishing net body,or blanket.

Even their hair is made from fishing net.

Mom's hat is a sea shell.

You can see the mom's cork body showing through the fishing net.

For some reason there is a loop at the top to hang them by.

Tomorrow we'll see another doll.
