Doll-A-Day 2019 #318: Puppet Baby

Today we're continue with an other 'unsophisticated' doll. What is less 'sophisticated' than a baby?

This little baby of Ivy's has a gimmick. She's a puppet!

The blanket is attached. The hand hole is in the back of the blanket/baby.

When the puppet is operated, the blanket makes a nice cover for the hand in the baby, and also makes the baby look like she's being cuddled in her blanket.

She's about 10 inches long.

She looks a little deflated without a hand in her.

It takes all five fingers to operate her properly. One finger goes in her head, and the others in her limbs.

She can hold her bottle in her mouth.

She's only marked 'made in China'. There's no maker on her.

That's the doll for today. See you tomorrow for another of Ivy's dolls.

  3. I have seen these before and I think she's cute. But I have one complaint. WHY did they color the nipple of the bottle black??? It looks like she is chewing on a marker!
