Doll-A-Day 2017 #105, Shrunken Saturday: 1930's Dollhouse Boy

Today's Shrunken Saturday doll is this little guy.

 He's from the 1930's.

He's marked 'Germany' on his back.

He's painted bisque. (Thank goodness, because unpainted bisque creeps me out.)

His socks are molded on, but not painted.

He's wearing what must be his original sunsuit.

It's missing the straps,or whatever held it up.

In spite of the fact that his sunsuit is pink and white gingham, I'm sure he's a boy. (It may just be faded red.)

Look at his hair cut,and his little face.

 And his molded curls.

Plus in the 1930's little boys wore sunsuits like his. Like this one:

...and this...

...and this.

He measures 3 1/4" tall.

What a sweet face!

He's slightly smaller than the dollhouse maid we saw a few weeks ago.

And alot smaller than the other doll we'll see more of next week.

I think he's her little brother. At least he is in my world.

See you again tomorrow.
