Pam was made by Uneeda in the 1950's. She resembles other dolls of the day,like Jill and Miss Ginger,but she's smaller.
While Miss Ginger and Jill were 10 and a half inches tall, Pam measures only 8 inches tall. (And before you say it,I'm sure there were other 8 inch dolls like this.)
Pam is a walker. When her legs are moved back and forth,her head turns.
She has high heel feet, but as usual,I'm low on shoes. |
Her eyes are sleep eyes,with hard plastic lashes.
My mistake. She may be looking at us,even when she's not supposed to. That eye is still sticking! |
It ties at the neck and closes at the waist with a snap. |
That's the doll for today.
Tomorrow we'll,of course,look at another one.
When I think of 8 inch dolls I think of the Madame Alexander Wendy or the Ginny doll. Pam looks like she would be a bit thinner. She is a cutie though.
