Today's doll is Billy Bob Brockali, the Show BizPizza Place Bear.
Does anybody remember ShowBiz Pizza Place? it was sort of like Chuck E. Cheese, with animatronic animals as the house band. Billy Bob was part of "the Rockafire Explosion".
The company that owned ShowBiz filed for bankruptcy in 1984, and in 1985 the company merged with Chuck E. Cheese. Chuck E. Cheese eventually got rid of their weird animatronic band too.
Billy Bob is about 10 inches tall. He was sold at ShowBiz in the 1980's. He originally had a guitar too.
This guy got kicked down the stairs by fire fighters, and got wet, but he was rescued and dried out in the nick of time. He needs a clean up, but he's okay. Good thing. He's supposed to be pretty rare, and he's expensive.

ReplyDeleteI have some memories of Showbiz Pizza, but I'm not sure I ever went there. Possibly I went with Unsentimental Niece.
DeleteWe had a Showbiz Pizza near us. Was the chain at one time called "Billy Bob's Pizza"? I seem to remember that as one of this place's iterations. It later became a Chuck E Cheese, then closed.
