Today's doll is Taylor.
Taylor was from the Starr Model Agency line of dolls made by JPI/Jakks Pacific, in the 1990's.

| Her snaps are corroding. She apparently got wet in the fire, but didn't stay wet long enough to mold or mildew. |
Taylor is wearing her original outfit. He box says to remove her skirt to reveal a bathing suit. No thank you. She originally came with a gold purse, shoes, a stand, a comb, brush, modeling portfolio with 'doll's composite photos', and a biography trading card.
She has the standard articulation of neck, shoulder, and hips, plus hinged shoulders, allowing her to move her arms outward, and bendable knees.

One of her knees doesn't hold a pose any more, so I'm assuming they are like Barbie's click bend knees, except Taylor's don't make any sound.
She has very thick long hair. I'm guessing the rubber band under her hair ribbon has disintegrated, because her hair is full of bits.
The Starr Model Agency dolls are 6 and a half inches tall, the same size as the old Dawn dolls from the 60's. They are also very similarly made, and there was even a doll in the series called Dawn.
