Doll-A-Day 2017 #212: Moxie Girlz

Today's doll is a Moxie Girlz doll.

I don't know if these are her original clothes.

I love the sweet big eyed face on the Moxie Girlz.

Although made by MGA,the makers of Bratz, they look much sweeter.

Unfortunately, they also hare the 'removable feet' trait of Bratz.

I've posted some Moxie Girlz before. You can see those posts HERE, HERE,HERE,and HERE.

And my post on the little Moxie Girlz Friends is HERE.
Check back tomorrow for another doll.

Doll-A-Day 263: Yummi Land Doll Chelsea Cherry Lynn

Today's doll is a Yummi Land doll.
Sorry about the focus. It was too wet to get down to her level!

Her name is Cherry Chelsea Lynn. These dolls came in bottles, like pop bottles.
She has sparkly eye shadow, and lips too.

They were scented.
She should be cherry scented, but I don't smell anything.

There were different series, like Soda Pop Girls, Ice Cream Pop Girls, Flower Pop Girls, Sundae Pop Girls, and Candy Pop Girls.Chelsea Cherry Lynn is a Soda Pop doll.

The holes in her feet must be for a stand. She can't stand on her own due to her big head and tiny feet.

This doll is about 5" tall, but there were also 11" tall dolls, and tiny pets.

These dolls were made by MGA, who also make Bratz and Moxie Girlz. That explains the big head.

She needs a little clean up. She has a yellow mark  on her face. A bit of nail polish remover should take care of that.

She kind of reminds me of the Lemon Head Kelly dolls.

She has a cute little dress with built in red tulle underskirt.

Her shoes are molded on.

Her hair is thick and silky, with lots of curl.

Here's a closer look at her 'do.

These dolls were made several years ago, but I don't remember them being in the stores. Ivy was very into Kelly dolls, so I'm surprised we didn't see them. Even now, I rarely come across them at yard sales or thrift stores. I found this girl a few weeks ago at a garage sale here in town. I liked her bright red lips and her overall colouring and silky, curly hair. Her price was pretty good too. She was a quarter.

  See you tomorrow.

Doll-A-Day 119: 4 Ever Best Friends Noelle

Today's doll just got her brief photo shoot in before a whopper of a thunderstorm, with warning sirens and all. Here she is.She's Noelle, a 4 Ever Best Friends doll by MGA.
Please ignore my extra clothesline tied up in the tree...As you can see, her arms can spread straight out, as well as move back and forth. Some of the 4 Ever Best Friends have swively wrists too.

I'm not sure if she has had a haircut or not, but I think she's cute this way.
They have sweet faces.
MGA are the same people who make Lalaoopsy dolls,Bratz and Moxie Girlz.(Boy, MGA likes to end names with 'z', don't they?)
"These pear blossoms are so pretty. I wonder if they smell good too?"

"Mmm---Pew! These things stink!" This is totally a joke. If you were that close to a pear blossom you'd already KNOW they stink, no sniffing neccessary. As soon as you walk into the yard you can smell them. They smell absolutely rotten.
Noelle is 9 and a half inches tall, about the same as a Bratz or Moxie Girlz doll. The 4 Ever Best friends dolls have attached feet though, which is a plus, if you ask me.
So she can just change her shoes, or go barefoot if she wants.

She's also about the same scale as those dolls, only with chunkier, more little girl legs. I think these doll are supposed to be younger than Moxie Girlz, but why do they have sparkly eye shadow then?

The 4 Ever Best Friends share accessories with Bratz dolls. Alot of the things they came with were exactly the same as Bratz things. They can not, however, share clothes.

I still need to show the last of my doll show goodies, so hang in there. See you tomorrow for another doll.
