They were made by Optimum, using the same body and a similar head to the Mary Quant Daisy doll.

This doll is for Dutch Airlines.
She has the same style shoes as the Daisy doll too.
Her outift has a vest as well as a blouse and jacket.
Ken collects advertising stuff, so this was a doll I kept on his behalf.
I had a whale of a thrift store day today, so I'll show you some of the haul tomorrow.See you then.
She is very cute, but I think she is one of those dolls I need to see in my hands to feel her, you know? Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYeah. Not quite my taste either, except I kind of like her uniform. Ken collects advertsing though, so she's more his collection than mine. I cheated!
DeleteI got a doll like this one (only for SAS) in 1986. I do not have more than one shoe and the jacket left of her outfit (I played with her).
ReplyDeleteLater I bought one with black hair on Ebay. Last summer, I found one with better face paint in Fretex. And in December, I found another one that had her shirt in a private doll lot.
I don't find them around here.I think I got the bigger one in a lot at a doll auction. People around here don't travel much, and especially not back then. I talked to a lady in the 80's ho was trying to sell me a soap dish,'made in England'. I said,"Well, made in Wales." She said,"Well Wales in a country in England." "Well, in Britain." She then said,"Oh I don't know the difference. I've never been out of..." and I can't remember if she said the state or the county!
