Doll-A-Day 2019 #204: Holly Hobbie

We've been living in the past lately, with all the dolls from the 50's and 60's. Today we're coming back into modern times a bit.

We recently saw a couple of Holly Hobbie dolls  from the early 2000's. This Holly Hobbie is from around the same time, and she's just as cute.

She was available in 2006.

She was from a series called Clubhouse Girls.

There were three dolls in the series,Holly,Amy, and Carrie, and there was actually a clubhouse playset to go with the dolls.
This Holly is about 4 and half inches tall.

She's a bendy doll.

I'm not sure her head is supposed to turn, but it does.

Her clothes aren't removable, although her skirt is at least made of a separate piece of rubber.

Her shoes and socks are molded and painted on.

Her shirt has raspberries printed on it.

Her hair is a non-removable separate piece too.

That's today's doll. Join us again tomorrow for another doll.

  1. I think that she has a princess face, maybe it's the smile. I can see her in a Sleeping Beauty gown. I like the heart necklace and the heart on her headband.

  2. I wonder how much play value children got from these dolls when they couldn't remove their clothes, shoes etc? So many times I've seen little children with a doll and the first thing that happens is the dolls clothes come off!
    Cute little dolls though! :)

  3. She is such a cute doll, but she is NOT Holly HObbie! lol I am amazed at her mold though, they did a great job making it look like her clothes are separate. The shoes even look like they come off! I would have liked these dolls as a separate entity, but I just don't see Holly in them.

    1. I agree. It's not Holly Hobbie. It's like the reboots of old TV shows. That "Get Smart" movie was funny, but it wasn't "Get Smart".
